HOUSE MOODLEY -
MAJOR ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING DWELLING
CAMPS BAY
An exciting project commissioned by a client residing in KZN. It was quite exciting and challenging as it was a bid between 3 architectural practices each having to present their conceptual ideas for scrutiny. We were delighted when we discovered we had won, over the 2 other notable practices in Cape Town, for interpreting the client’s brief with great accuracy and quality of analysis which paved the way forward.
As a result of the global pandemic the project was temporarily halted. Please stay tuned for updates on this exciting project.
HOUSE MOUTON
MAJOR ALTERATIONS & ADDITIONS TO EXISTING DWELLING
KLEINBRON ESTATE
The property is situated on a luxury estate in the northern suburbs of Cape Town surrounded by beautiful wine routes and other luxury estates.
The brief called for a transition from the existing suburban styled facebrick home to a home with a more contemporary feel. Large windows and double volumes spaces was important in realizing our client’s vision. All attained within a given budget.

ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING BUILDING
OBSERVATORY, CAPE TOWN
Major renovations and restoration to a neglected heritage building on a site that wraps around a corner property affording it dual access and its main entry along a prominent street edge in Observatory. Historically the building had no formal use approved at the City. Along with reviving the building, our client sought to formalize/ fix many aspects of the property which were ill-defined in terms of town planning and land use. The renovations and intent was to bring a health & wellness studio the area which was easily accessible via public transport or private. The goal was achieved and has revived both its edges offering a fresh approach.
